Seriously, how many of you truly know the words to Auld Lang Syne by Robert Burns?  Every New Year’s Eve when the clock strikes midnight, I look around to see who is really singing Auld Lang Syne.  I won’t lie, I have never known the words.  I ususally would just move my mouth so it looked like I knew the words. 

Even Harry from ‘When Harry Met Sally’ asks the question that I have always wanted to know,  “What does this song mean? My whole life, I don’t know what this song means. I mean, ‘Should old acquaintance be forgot’? Does that mean that we should forget old acquaintances, or does it mean if we happened to forget them, we should remember them, which is not possible because we already forgot?”
